About the Ranch
A Place Built Around Family, Dogs, and Everyday Life
Weldon Ridge Ranch is our home first.
It is where our kids grow up, where our dogs spend their days, and where most of the life behind our breeding program actually happens.
We are located in Oklahoma on a rural family property with plenty of room for the dogs to run, explore, swim, play, and simply be part of whatever we are doing.
Our dogs are not kept separate from our daily life. They are with us around the house, outside with the kids, riding along when we are working around the property, and usually following somebody wherever they happen to be going.
Life at Weldon Ridge
Most days here are pretty simple.
The dogs spend time outside, explore the property, chase whatever catches their attention, cool off in the water when it is hot, and come back inside when they are ready to relax.
Some of them are always looking for something to do. Others are perfectly happy lying beside us or following the kids around.
That mix of activity and everyday family life is exactly what we want for our dogs.
We believe Tollers are happiest when they are involved with their people, and that is how ours live.
Raised Around Real Life
Our puppies grow up in the same environment.
They are exposed to normal household activity, children, outdoor spaces, different surfaces, new sounds, and plenty of human interaction.
We do not try to create a perfectly controlled or overly structured environment.
Instead, we want puppies to experience normal life in a positive way so they leave us curious, confident, and ready to adapt to their new homes.
A Family Operation
Weldon Ridge Ranch is not a large commercial kennel.
It is a family-run program built around a relatively small number of dogs that we know extremely well.
That is intentional.
We enjoy having our dogs as part of our family, and we want to keep the program at a size where each dog still gets plenty of individual attention and simply gets to be a dog.
Our children are a big part of that environment too. The dogs grow up around them, play with them, follow them, and learn to be patient with them.
For us, that is one of the most important parts of what makes the ranch feel like home.
More Than Just Dogs
While the dogs are a major part of Weldon Ridge, the ranch itself continues to grow and evolve around our family and the way we like to live.
We enjoy animals, the outdoors, and building a life where our kids can grow up with space, responsibility, and plenty of things to explore.
That same atmosphere is a big part of the experience our dogs and puppies grow up in.
