Frequently Asked Questions

Buying a Puppy

How does your puppy process work?
We try to keep things simple. Reach out, tell us a little about yourself and what you’re looking for, and we’ll talk through any questions you have. Puppies are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis once deposits are being accepted.

Do you require an application or home visit?
No. We do not use a formal application process, and we do not require home visits. We prefer to keep the process personal and straightforward rather than overly formal.

How are puppies selected?
Puppies are selected in reservation order. We are happy to share what we are seeing in the litter and talk through individual personalities, but we do not assign puppies based on formal temperament testing.

We believe puppies are highly adaptable, and the environment they grow up in after leaving us has a huge influence on the dog they become.

Can I choose based on color or markings?
Yes. Once it is your turn to choose, you can select the puppy that appeals to you most, whether that is based on personality, color, markings, or simply the one you connect with.

About the Puppies

When can puppies go home?
Puppies go home at eight weeks of age.

Are puppies raised in your home?
Yes. Our puppies are raised around our family and normal daily life. They are exposed to household activity, kids, outdoor time, different surfaces, sounds, play, and age-appropriate enrichment.

Are the puppies around children?
Yes. Our dogs and puppies are raised around our children, and patience with kids is something we value highly in our breeding dogs.

Do you start crate training or potty training?
We introduce puppies to age-appropriate routines and experiences before they leave, but we do not present them as fully crate trained or house trained at eight weeks old. Those habits really begin to solidify once the puppy is in your home and on your schedule.

Health & Breeding

Are your breeding dogs health tested?
Yes. We use breed-appropriate health testing and pedigree information when making breeding decisions.

Do you offer a health guarantee?
We provide a 3 year health guarantee.

Are the puppies vet checked?
Yes. Puppies are evaluated appropriately before leaving for their new homes.

Do puppies come with vaccinations and deworming?
Yes. Puppies receive age-appropriate veterinary care before going home, and families receive their health records.

Reservations & Availability

How do I reserve a puppy?
Once a litter is open for reservations, a deposit secures your place in the selection order.

Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable.

How far in advance should I contact you?
You are welcome to reach out anytime. Some litters may fill quickly, while others may have more availability.

Do you keep a long waiting list?
We try not to build an enormous open-ended waiting list. Availability varies by litter, and we prefer to work with families who are genuinely interested in a current or upcoming breeding.

Pickup & Going Home

Where are you located?
We are located near Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Do you ship puppies?
We do - we ship via a flight nanny.

Can someone else pick up my puppy for me?
Usually yes, as long as arrangements are made with us ahead of time.

What should I bring when I pick up my puppy?
We’ll send you the details before pickup, but generally you’ll want a safe way to transport your puppy, water, cleanup supplies, and whatever you need for the trip home.

After Your Puppy Goes Home

Can I contact you with questions later?
Absolutely. We enjoy staying in touch with our families and are always happy to help with normal questions about training, behavior, feeding, development, or life with a Toller.
